Thank you for your email. How much of your relationship with James relies on lies? Are you going to hurt him more if you keep the relationship going, particularly if you have been involved with a friend?

Do you want to stay together with James enough to tell him everything? If you're not willing to do this, is it worth staying in the relationship? If you did this, is there a chance that he would forgive you? Perhaps you should consider making a difficult decision, otherwise things will probably continue as they are now.

You said you liked your boyfriend's mate and he likes you too. Do you feel this is relevant, as you said you don't want to hurt your boyfriend? Do you in fact want to get together with Ricky? If so, would it help to acknowledge that fact?
